Candice Lee was born and raised in South Africa, growing up with safari camps on wild frontiers. She moved to the Far East, spending the last 16 years as a specialist in the design, development, management and operation of luxury resorts, hotels, F&B developments and residences in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, India, the U.S and Australia.
Candice's vision to merge luxury and sustainability to create a new typology of accessible, casual and refined getaways resulted in the creation of makali.
